IThe 2021 NCS Convention and Show kicks off with a guided tour of Sarah P Duke Gardens, highlighting chrysanthemums. Michelle Rawlins, Duke Gardens horticulturist, and NCS member, has developed an amazing collection of chrysanthemums, carefully grown all season and displayed in the William Louis Culberson Asiatic Arboretum. The tour will focus on the arboretum and include brief stops at other iconic garden locations to give you a sense of the entire Gardens. Duke Gardens is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to dusk. It is available to all, whether on a guided tour or enjoying at your own pace and time.

The NCS convention is open only to the National Chrysanthemum Society members, but new members are welcome to join NCS and attend. The NCS guided tour of the Duke Garden is Thursday, November 4th, at noon. The first week of November has stunning displays of fall color as well as brilliant chrysanthemum plants placed throughout the 55-acre botanical garden.
